Each year, industry leaders from across New York City gather to support Her Justice and drive change for women and families in our community seeking new beginnings in their lives through the civil justice system.

This fall we celebrated new beginnings during our Shift The Power Campaign!

Through life-changing free legal help and policy work built on three decades of expertise, Her Justice improves outcomes for our clients and women like them, Shifting The Power to offer new beginnings for women and families in New York City. This fall also brought a new beginning for Her Justice itself as we welcomed our new Executive Director, Alexia Korberg! Our campaign was a promise to our clients – 90% of whom are women of color, 80% of whom are survivors of intimate partner violence, and 70% of whom are mothers – that they are not alone through their legal journey, and a new day is on the horizon.

Every year, Her Justice celebrates the New York City legal community’s commitment to volunteerism at its annual Commitment to Justice Awards, highlighting the very real impact legal relief can have for New York City families.
